"America Bless the Lord," is a national hymn of prayer and humility. It was written and sung by Dr. Thomas Meekins, the Senior Pastor of Church on the Rock in Baytown, Texas.
The song is inspired by the scriptures II Chronicles 7:14, “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” The Bible also declares when the righteous rule the people rejoice!
